Colleagues of Vilniaus Duona join the step challenge with Walk15 – to walk from Vilnius to Panevėžys
On the occasion of World Safety and Health Day, our colleagues have started registration for the step challenge "Step with Vilnius Bread". And it starts already in June! All colleagues of Vilniaus Duona are invited to participate. The Step Challenge will take place throughout the first month of summer, from June 1 to 30, to further encourage colleagues to actively spend time in nature or travel.
Daily walking can not only improve your health, but also increase your energy levels and improve your mood. It has been scientifically proven that movement helps you feel better, concentrate more easily, and be more creative. And after all, all this creates a healthier work environment.
"Our bakeries in Vilnius and Panevėžys are separated by 150 kilometers or 300,000 steps. We invite you to take up the challenge and "visit" your colleagues on foot. How? Collect 300 thousand signatures in the Walk15 app during the month of June. steps. This is about 10 thousand. steps every day, as recommended by healthy lifestyle experts," says Jurga Staniukėnienė, our organization's development specialist, who initiated this idea internally.
