UAB "Vilniaus duona" is implementing the project "Installation of heat return equipment and reduction of air pollution UAB "Vilniaus duona" No. LAAIF-AM-TECH02-0003, financed under the sub-activity "Strengthening the Prevention and Management of Negative Environmental Impacts" of the Environmental and Climate Change Management Development Programme of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania No. 02-001-06-11-01 "Strengthening the Prevention and Management of Negative Environmental Impacts" of the 2022–2030 Development Programme Manager. Installation of Equipment and Tools to Reduce the Amount of Pollutants Emitted into the Ambient Air During Economic Activity". The funds of the programme will be used to install thermal energy recovery equipment.
The project is administered by the state budgetary institution Environmental Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania. The total value of the project is EUR 178,900.00, of which EUR 125,230.00 is co-financed by the State of the Republic of Lithuania.
With the help of the subsidy granted by the programme, UAB Vilniaus Duona will install innovative equipment designed to reduce the amount of pollutants into the ambient air – heat recovery equipment, which will allow the company to significantly reduce the amount of fuel (gas) currently consumed for technological processes and heating needs. At the same time, the continuous effect of environmental protection will be ensured, the main tasks set out in environmental directives and other regulatory acts at all levels will be carried out: to take all possible and economically justifiable measures to reduce the amount of pollutants and negative impacts on public health and the environment, to develop and implement sustainable technologies, to save natural resources, to take modern solutions for the use of resources, taking into account the long-term needs of natural ecosystems and business (people).
The implementation of the project will allow to contribute to the creation of a cleaner environment and increase the competitiveness and productivity of the company.
Start of project activities: 2025-09-19.
End of project activities: 2027-10-19.
