We awarded this year's ambassadors of Vilniaus Duona values

At the annual Vilniaus Duona event, we awarded this year's ambassadors of our three values: openness, drive and an all-encompassing approach. We have selected nine colleagues who cherish the values of our company from among the nominated members in three divisions: bakeries in Panevėžys and Vilnius and the administration.

Openness:

– Petras Beliauskas, line operator, Vilnius bakery. The head of the bakery Dalia Zdanovičienė praised this excellent young and calm colleague for his openness and receptivity to innovations and often extended a helping hand to his colleagues.

– Arvydas Tinteris, a baker-shaper who works in a bakery in Panevėžys. Its leader Marius Juška introduced him as a person who knows the whole way of bread: he has baked and baked bread, and if necessary, he gladly agrees to help.

– Aurelija Meiduvienė, Production Shift Manager. According to Dalia Zdanovičienė, this person has been nominated for several years and it is gratifying that this year the nomination turned into an award. A very loyal and energetic manager. Positive, honest and does not wrap words in cotton wool, communicates well, if someone gets stuck, explains openly, talks.

A holistic approach:

– Galina Mitiul, the head of the production shift, a long-time colleague of the Vilnius bakery, named by her manager Dalia as a real builder of the cathedral, whom she can rely on, who sees the wider picture.

– Lukas Sukiasian, a loader working on the Panevėžys expedition, accepted the award from Vytautas Rygertas, our logistics manager. He described the nominee as someone who shows initiative and goes above and beyond what your position requires, learns quickly and is determined to take on more responsibility.

– Lidija Tinterienė, the head of the expedition shift – for the fact that despite the fact that she has been working for a long time and no one needs to prove anything to her, she does not stop doing more than is expected of her when necessary. During our BP3 project, he responsibly replaces the colleagues involved in the project – after all, as the logistics manager rightly emphasized, "We can bake a lot of good bread, but if no one takes it away, no one will eat bread".

Vigor

– Gintaras Kondratavičius – transporter, from the Vilnius bakery. He solves problems promptly and independently and willingly undertakes to help others.

– Romualdas Šereika, baker-shaper, Panevėžys bakery is one of our veterans, he has been working for 18 years, even during this celebration it was his shift. A colleague who does not mince words, but is specific and does his job perfectly, working on our line at the highest capacity.

– Saulė Jasinskaitė, sales support specialist. Although she has been working for us for less than a year, she has already managed to earn the respect of her colleagues for her drive, involvement in projects, always extending a helping hand and at the same time, not losing her good mood and smile.

Example of health and safety

This year, in addition to values, we also awarded the ambassador another colleague who embodies an important aspect – an example of health and safety. This appreciation went to Mindaugas Latukas. This colleague, who works in a bakery in Vilnius, gives many ideas on where and how we can do things safer, healthier, and more convenient for employees. His thoughts have contributed a lot to making our third line, our production heavyweight, much safer.

Not all colleagues participated in the event, so we will present the awards to some of them personally at work.
