We received gratitude for participating in the career program

932 shadowing visits, in 153 organizations. This is how many opportunities to try out your career were created by the Lithuanian Junior Achievement Šešėliavimas .lt program in 2024. And it's nice that we were a part of it!

We participated in a beautiful thank-you event, where the participants of this program gathered under the vaults of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports .

Shadowing is a meaningful initiative that helps students try out their desired specialties, or maybe even discover new ones. The students shared at the event that companies welcome them warmly, hospitably and willingly.

Our Panevėžys bakery was visited for the last time by gymnasium students from this city's Juozas Balčikonis gymnasium together with career teacher Giedrė Valaitienė. At the same time, we invited representatives of Vilnius University of Applied Sciences , who presented study opportunities for those who want to plan a career in food production.

Thank you once again to my colleagues who took time among their other works and helped to organize a meaningful half-day for high school students in our bakery, the gratitude received at the event really goes to you:

– Julija Štitiliene – for showing the whole way of bread in the bakery

– Snieguolė Soblinskienė – for interesting facts and stories about bread

– Viktorija Legaudaite-Lydekaitiene – for the sensory evaluation of bread, conducted together with colleagues Viktorija Balčiūnienė and Olga Grebniovienė

– Jurga Staniukėnienė, who helped coordinate everything.

A lot of colleagues are needed to prepare such an excursion in a high-quality way, but seeing the interested looks of high school students and career teachers – it's worth it! 🤝
