Today in Lithuania is celebrated Bread Day

Today is Bread Day. Is it still important to us?

After all, you no longer need to plough, plough, sow, thresh, grind, knead, create a fire and fry yourself.

Many no longer have to think about whether they will have bread on the table today.

But this day is still an important reminder for all of us: to feel gratitude for a loaf of bread in our hands. And for all that it contains:

🫶 For having someone to 🫶 share it with, for those who spread it to us – for our roots 🫶, for those who taught us everything we know today.
