Annual Vilniaus Duona event – awards for ambassadors of values and a challenge for food vans
This year, the colleagues of Vilniaus Duona came together again for the annual event, which became a great opportunity not only to spend time together, but also to show creativity and honor the ambassadors of our values.
Traditionally, 9 colleagues were awarded who inspire the values of our company implemented by their example: openness, an all-encompassing attitude and drive.
Itested myself in the Food Vans Challenge
During the event, there was a fun Food Vans Challenge, where 8 teams had the opportunity to construct their vans, decorate them, cook a hot dish and snack, and introduce themselves creatively. This entertainment was taken care of by our long-term partners Ūpas events.
"The teams were formed randomly, so we had a great opportunity to get to know our less frequently seen colleagues better and use our personal talents. During cooking, colleagues were assisted by a chef who was ready to help with both advice and practical help. Despite the short-term rain, everyone's mood remained uplifting, and the evening ended with a warm and cheerful party," said Jurga Staniukėnienė, who led the team of organizers of the event.
Managers reviewed the company's current affairs
As usual, the beginning of the event began with an overview of the company's current affairs: the company's CEO Artūras Kokoškinas reviewed the results and plans, and Jūratė Kudabaitė-Staškevičienė reminded about the additional values provided by the company and new employee benefits, such as health insurance.
At the party, AI songs and dances
Artiom Bučinskas provided a great mood boost – he created a fun Kahoot brain battle, in which he tested our knowledge of more interesting company facts. Our long-time driver, affectionately called Stasiukas by his colleagues because of his warm manner, also attracted attention here.
At the party, a spontaneous flash-mob dance was waiting for everyone, conducted by Jolita Ažusienė, a former member of the small dance theater "Vilga", and the music was specially created for us by artificial intelligence. True, the latter was fed with proper hints, unexpected facts and details by Artiom and Laura, who got involved in the AI hackathon in Copenhagen. The dance involved several dozen participants and became one of the most memorable moments of the event.
The evening part was cheerfully hosted by Mama Rokenrol. Some colleagues saw their faces on stage with an array of famous actors (the Reface app came in handy).
Thank you to the organizational team
This time, the event took place in the Karališkis villa, in Anykščiai district, surrounded by nature, the beauty of which was complemented by a cheerful program.
In our company, there is an attitude that we take care of internal events for the most part ourselves, which allows us to reveal the talents of our colleagues and create communion. Therefore, the powerful 9 of colleagues worked on the work of the event.
Artūras Kokoškinas thanked the entire organizational team for the rich, cheerful and smooth event. And this nine has done a lot:
- Julija Štitilienė took care of the logistics and organization of the bus and the registration of employees, ensuring that all participants reached the celebration.
- Viktorija Balčiūnienė coordinated accommodation and transport, organized prizes and gifts to thank colleagues and external partners of the event.
- Jolita Ažusienė added creatively – she created a dance of her colleagues and took care of the photo wall, giving the event a festive accent.
- Artiom Bučinskas was involved in the organization, created a humorous Kahoot game about the company, helped with the creation of the AI song and was the DJ of the event during the day.
- Laura Četvergaitė helped to create the lyrics of the song and contributed to the musical part.
- Dainius Mažeika actively assisted in the place of the event itself – he helped to install a photo wall, flags and other decorative elements.
- Eglė Liausadaitė ensured a smooth registration of employees and the accommodation process.
- Rasa Pustovalova responsibly supervised the final of the celebration and took care of the impressive cake, ending the event impressively and neatly.
- Jurga Staniukėnienė took care of the entire course of the event and catering and coordinated the entire organizational team, ensuring that all work went smoothly.
Thank you, colleagues, for your work, creativity and dedication! And to all participants for a great mood and time together.
