Ambassadors of Vilniaus Duona values awarded
At the annual event of Vilniaus Duona, we awarded this year's ambassadors of three of our values. Introducing 9 colleagues who have been awarded for living our company's values: openness, inclusive attitude and drive.
Values ambassadors are nominated and elected by colleagues every year. At the event, the awards were presented to them by their immediate supervisors. And for those who could not come to the celebration, congratulations were given at the workplace.
Openness
Vitalij Muravskij, electrician locksmith, Vilnius bakery – for communicating well and passing on information to colleagues. If there is a technical problem, he captures it with a camera and shares it with his colleagues, suggests a solution. Open to innovation and discussion, listens to observations and provides feedback.
Vincenta Mikučionienė, dough making operator, Panevėžys bakery – has been working in the company for 15 years, starting with packaging, learning new things and now preparing dough. A person who is able to work on several different lines and cooperates well with colleagues, accepts innovations and rushes to help in case of trouble.
Andrius Paužas, Technical Maintenance Manager, Administration. The head of the bakery , Dalia Zdanovičienė , calls it a gift from God to the bakery. He is excellent at initiating work, clarifying responsibilities and, most importantly, helping the bakery's colleagues who work with machinery to feel that their opinion and work are valued and important. With him, you can talk openly about challenges and find solutions.
A holistic approach
Agata Ruseckaitė, dough making operator, Vilnius bakery – willingly shares her competencies and experience with her colleagues, and is able to work in as many as 5 positions herself. This is a person whose comprehensive experience has repeatedly saved co-workers from a burning situation or illness. A friendly, versatile and understanding colleague.
Jurgita Marmakevičienė, Assembler of Panevėžys Bakery – cooperates with other colleagues to achieve a common goal, respectfully communicates and is interested in colleagues.
Marta Misiūnaitė, senior The sales representative, the administration – in negotiations with one retail chain, made non-standard and bold decisions, was able to offer mutually beneficial options and thus preserve sales volumes.
Vigor
Andrej Davidson, loader, Vilnius bakery – for making effective and balanced decisions at work, taking responsibility and achieving set goals.
Rita Butnorė, baker-creator, Panevėžys bakery – for courage and determination to improve, gain more knowledge and move forward. When she started working as a packer, she learned to work on dosing and baking, and now she is learning to mix doughs. A person with a good mood and a sensitive heart will not leave a colleague passing by without talking or laughing.
Šarūnė Stankevičiūtė, Head of Continuous Improvement, Administration – Šarūnė, sharing her experience and skills and accepting the experience and skills of her colleagues from the entire bakery in Panevėžys, finds a way to concentrate it, direct it to improve processes, and sometimes even products. Thanks to her insights, the Panevėžys bakery managed to save almost EUR 0.5 million. euros. 👏
