Vilniaus Duona colleagues participated in the Lantmännen Unibake Group event in Copenhagen
Recently, our colleagues returned from an event in Copenhagen at Lantmännen Unibake One World of Opportunities. At the event organized on the theme of the football championship, company and marketing managers from 36 countries gathered to share good practices and trends in the food industry.
In the atmosphere of the football championship, we competed and shared what we have the best in the companies. At the fair, the companies of the group presented their products. And of course, how can we do without awards.
Two days were full of content and communication, and we met a group of colleagues from other countries.
We delved into innovative ways to reduce waste and costs, and talked about trends in the food production sector. A few stuck thoughts from the event:
– The need for healthier, less sugary products with more fiber is growing, and attention to better composition is increasing;
– Studies show that breakfast is probably the fastest growing category in terms of daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks).
– As people are increasingly working from home, products adapted for eating and cooking at home are becoming more popular
– 70% of U.S. food service providers currently make sustainability a priority for their organization.
Thank you to the organizers from Lantmännen Unibake, Audrey Regnier and Mikkel Andersen and the whole team that worked on this event!
