The filming team visited our bakery in Panevėžys
Recently, we visited colleagues at the Vilniaus Duona bakery in Panevėžys. Our breads are baked here such as "Močiutės", "Beata virtuvė" black bread with seeds, "Rugelis", "Urtės" and many others.
Together with Ignas Skudrick from 7S Films, we went through the entire bread path in the factory: how sourdough is prepared, dough is made, raised, baked. Then it is cooled, matured, sliced and packaged. Assembled and transported for our customers.
It is not surprising that the road is not short (and not all the "intermediate" stops have been mentioned here): to get bread on the Lithuanian table – more than 60 different professions contribute to this!
We also had a fun chat with several colleagues working in the bakery, which we will also show in the company's video.
Olga Grebniovienė says of her colleagues "time-tested people, with whom you can go to war". It is not for nothing that she uses such a volatile phrase – until the bread, Olga worked in the military structure for almost 20 years, has the category of infantry.
Nijolė Žukienė – when talking about bread, she never stops smiling and speaks like a living creature "Bread is what it is, you can't go to it angry," she says. She was elected as the 2023 Ambassador of Vigor at Vilniaus Duona.
Sonata Maselienė – who once received a referral to "Vilniaus duona" from the Employment Service, today she is an experienced preparer of bald and leavens, but she has also acquired additional qualifications, so she calls herself a "holiday rescuer" – if necessary, she can substitute for colleagues on vacation in other activity bars. She was elected as the 2023 Openness Ambassador.
Thank you very much to the whole team of Panevėžys, who welcomed the whole filming team – with bread and salt (we are joking, there was no salt – only delicious bread:)
Olga, who showed everything, accompanied her through the bread road,
Julia, who clarified the team breaks with her humor and hospitality,
For the part that allowed me to breathe in the soul of the bread (that leaven is very macnic – they say they won't get a runny nose!),
Mindaugas, who showed how to dress up when going to the production premises,
Tadas Gaškauskas, who did not allow himself to get lost in a large area
Jolita Ažusienė, who orchestrated this whole process.
And to all the colleagues who waved to us, smiled, showed everything, answered smart and not very smart questions and welcomed us hospitably!
