Beata and I discussed further our common recipes
Vilniaus Duona has been cooperating with Beata Nicholson for more than ten years. We agreed on the first recipes together in 2013. And this friendship continues to this day. Recently, Beata visited us at Vilniaus Duona to discuss further joint work.
Together with Beata Kitchen, we have launched sandwich bread, black bread with seeds, as well as Christmas Eve cakes with poppy seeds and hemp seeds.
Here's what Beata shared in her article about our first bread, which has earned the love of buyers and is still being snatched from the shelves today:
"First of all, it's sandwich bread, which my family eats and what I like myself. It is good to make sandwiches, it is pleasantly tasty and toasted. This bread had to contain and still contains golden and dark flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and poppy seeds, which are comfortably flavored, but there are only a few of them," Beata said about the bread created.
Meanwhile, black rye bread is different, richer. Rye bread goes well with a piece of herring, avocado or beetroot, and other condiments. It is a black bread with a rich taste, moist and filling, full of a wide variety of seeds: sweet sunflower, delicious pumpkin, nutritional flaxseed. They make up as much as 30% of this bread.
As Beata herself says, this bread, like a cake, can be eaten just alone.
The Christmas Eve recipe created in 2016 has also become a classic of the Christmas period.
"I look forward to meeting them all year round, then I taste them, check if they are as good as last year. And yes. They are so kind and delicious that I have to hide them from myself, because I can eat a package in one sitting. Christmas Eve is probably the only tradition that does not leave anyone indifferent, big or small. Let's cherish our traditions, roots and be proud that we have Christmas Eves," Beata, a true ambassador of her products, said about Christmas Eve.
"We discussed how we are doing with the current Beata products, we discussed what new joint products of ours may appear on customers' tables this year. Buyers really love and trust the products to which Beata adds her hand. She is responsibly involved in the creation of recipes and designs. We will definitely create news together," says Artūras Kokoškinas, Executive Director of Vilniaus Duona.
