"Žolinėk' 24": we invite you to the Botanical Garden for herbaceous

On August 15, the VU Botanical Garden in Kairėnai invites you to celebrate the Herbal Day together and go on a journey of knowledge of the herbaceous gardens. The program of the "Žolinėk' 24" celebration includes a wide variety of events, fairs, educations, concerts and entertainment for the whole family. The garden invites you to the festival together with the Lithuanian Phytotherapy Association and Švenčionys Medicinal Herbs, and Vilniaus Duona is among the sponsors of the festival.

During the festival, there will be an opportunity to get to know various grasslands, hear about the Herbal Customs from ethnologist Gražina Kadžytė, listen to various performers, and participate in educations. Dietitian Vaida Kurpienė will share about the benefits of bread for the body, and Ligita Guldupienė – about the effect of herbs on body and soul.
