When you are ambitious and have a great appetite for achievement, you will always catch success in your career path. Our colleague Andrius Juknevičius perfectly reflects this statement, which started with the sales representative of Vilnius Bread, later the chief executive officer of Vilnius Bread. sales representative in the Klaipėda region, and recently works as the company's most important customer manager. What it meant 15 years ago, when Andrius got a job in our company, to work as a representative of Vilnius Bread in the western region of Lithuania, is not known to everyone.

"When I started working at Vilnius Bread, I knew my responsibilities, I had all the necessary competencies and personal qualities to do this job, but it turns out that was not all. I only knew about Vilnius bread that it was the market leader, but I didn't know that no one in the Klaipėda region bought Vilnius bread products. When I started working at Vilnius Bread, I encountered the phenomenon of a local producer. When I entered the store as a sales representative of Vilnius Bread offering products, I was asked by them. The vast majority of customers had the only bread supplier in the western region of Lithuania. Such as Vilnius bread, in the Klaipėda region, there was the least need for anyone. After the first days of work, I realized that I would not do anything here and no one buys and will not buy Vilnius bread products here. My self-esteem started to fall, but after all, I was such a strong salesman and believed that I could sell anything, and I couldn't even sell a baguette.

After rethinking the current, seemingly hopeless situation, I decided that I had to make changes. I put together in my mind what the production should look like in an ideal store and got to work. I printed out a stack of contracts and went to the market. Step by step, I expanded the number of customers. I had to visit the same customer more than once, even several times, whose answer regarding the sale of Vilnius bread was negative. Not only did I not give up, I accepted it as a challenge. And when I finally reached my goal, I felt great satisfaction and it "transported" me. Every contract signed was worth gold. When the number of clients increased, I set myself the goal of becoming a customer partner. Clients began to trust me and be willing to cooperate. For a large part of customers, Vilnius Bread has become the main supplier. In such moments of success, I realized that the impossible became possible. Thanks to a lot of desire, effort, and sometimes a little luck, I was able to achieve good results.

I learned to "employ" my good qualities in Vilnius Bread, as well as developed new competencies, increased my "weight" as a salesperson, which helps me until now, when I started working with the most important customers of Vilnius Bread throughout Lithuania," Andrius shared his success story.
