On 17 August, together with colleagues from the Lantmännen Unibake Group, we laid out next year's work in the field of sustainability. Logistics, production, marketing – all relevant departments from the three Baltic countries (LT, EE, LV) were involved.

The main sustainability goals of our group are three:

"To achieve zero GHG emissions by 2050 – not only at home, but throughout our supply chain. – By 2030, double the number of health-friendly products offered – that is, more whole grains and fiber, less salt, lower calorie content of delicacies. – Improve opportunities for people – including 100% equal pay for the same work, 50/50 gender sharing in leadership roles, power distribution among workers of all ages, and ensuring a safe work culture and environment.

#FieldtoFork We include not only our group, but also partners, looking at the entire supply chain – because, for example, with regard to CO2, although the food industry is one of the sources, we only generate about 10% of its quantity directly, the other part comes through supply partners.

Therefore, it will be extremely important for us from whom we buy flour, raw materials, packaging, logistics services, waste management – one of the essential criteria will be the extent to which partners and suppliers help to achieve the sustainability goals set for us: in terms of climate, health and better conditions for people.
