Baking bread for the Lithuanian table is a mission of 65 professions
Baking bread for the Lithuanian table is a mission of 65 professions in our country. From sourdough preparers, bakers, production line operators to packers and assemblers. You can't even list them all. In this video, which we will also show in the upcoming career days, we interviewed several colleagues about both bread and work.
Colleagues emphasized opportunities for growth
When interviewing colleagues for this video, almost everyone emphasized one thing: opportunities to grow and move forward here, no matter what your position is.
Sonata Maselienė – once directed here to try her hand at the Employment Service, today she has been working for 16 years. "I like that there is no monotony here, every day is different." Sonata was elected by her colleagues last year as an ambassador of our Value of Openness, because she has mastered more than one stage of production and is happy to share her knowledge with her colleagues.
Olga Grebniovienė – she has been working for us as the Production Shift Manager for three years. "We learn from each other, we help each other, and that environment becomes so very pleasant for her." Olga is currently studying at Vilnius University of Applied Sciences. She was chosen by her colleagues as the Ambassador of Internal Communication, because she actively shares internal news from the life of the bakery.
Our veteran Nijolė Žukienė, who has been continuing her career with us for 37 years, ignites with her energy and positivity (it is not for nothing that she was elected ambassador of the Value of Vigor!). It very much invites young people to come to us. "The company really gives a lot of opportunities. They show everything in good faith, they teach them," she says.
Snieguolė Šoblinskienė, whom we call our bread sommelier, says: no matter what the equipment and technology, you can't create bread without love. And he also reminds us that the best general is the one who started from the initial step.
Artūras Kokoškinas adds that bread is a job that requires a lot of creativity. "You have to be interested in everything: the economy, the environment, fashion. And look, if you start as a student one day, you will become the head of a huge company."
Tomorrow we will participate in Vilnius Tech University's Gravity Career Day. There we will also show it to the visiting students. Watch the video and click HERE.
