According to Edmutis Šileikis, a long-time employee of Vilniaus Duona, if you want to work, you are faced with challenges, you look for solutions, not excuses.

Edmutis has been with Vilniaus Duona for 46 years – he got a job here as soon as he finished his studies. He works as an electrician-locksmith in the Vilnius bakery and takes care of the maintenance and repair of all the equipment here on a daily basis, and if necessary, he rushes to the aid of his colleagues and helps with other work. For indifference to colleagues and sincere attitude to work in 2022. Edmutis was elected as an ambassador of one of our values – "All-Inclusive Approach".

When asked what challenges most often occur at work, he says that there is everything, but the most important thing is the attitude. "I think that if you want to work, you look for opportunities, if you don't want to, you look for excuses. If you want, you always come up with a solution to any situation that arises," says the employee.

In his opinion, the most important thing in this job is to want to work, look for opportunities to improve, as well as enjoy communication with colleagues, as there are a lot of joint activities. "Over the years, I have become an integral part of the company, so I can say with certainty that this work is a team game. A company will achieve good results only if we work together as a team. And I have a wonderful team – I met a lot of great people here," he says.
