This is one of the most important questions both for Vilnius Bread candidates in job selection interviews and for our employees, who have the desire to learn and the potential to grow. We encourage our employees to develop and acquire new knowledge by moving up the career ladder, participating in projects or sharing experience at Lantmännen Unibake. We understand employees' desire to broaden their horizons and are always welcome to take on challenges.

One of the examples of ambitious career aspirations in our organization is Julius Jancevičius, who started his career at Vilnius Bread 15 years ago. As a student of bread baking technology at Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, he completed his final internship in one of the Vilnius bread bakeries. From then on, Julius' career journey in our company began. During the internship, his potential was noticed by the head of the bakery and soon Julius started in the position of production shift manager at Vilnius Bread.

After becoming a new manager, he learned the subtleties of working with people, changed established working methods and employee habits, put a lot of effort into the efficient operation of production processes, contributing to the smooth management of IT systems of production processes. After Julius gained a lot of knowledge and skills in the bakery, his job functions were expanded and he started working as a production and forwarding shift manager, where he was additionally responsible for delivering production orders to customers. After some time, he became responsible for all orders for the company's raw materials and contracts for purchased services in the position of purchasing manager, and later joined the purchasing team of the parent company and worked on the implementation of large procurement contracts.

Julius' career path continued to develop even faster. Julius received an offer to become a leader in production process management. His responsibility was to harmonize the production and procurement processes of the fresh bread business cluster in Finland and the Baltic States. While working in this position, together with teams from other countries, he initiated changes in process optimization and successfully implemented them. According to Julius, "the job offers I received from the company were always ambitious and challenging. I didn't know where they would take me, but I always accepted them and handled them perfectly, because it was very interesting to improve and seek new knowledge." Currently, Julius is responsible for the management of production projects in the Baltic States and works on optimizing bakery production processes, solving problems related to processes in bread product planning, production and logistics.

"I really appreciate the experience I have gained in this company. I didn't have to look for career opportunities in other companies when the time was ripe for career changes. I have always admired the opportunities offered by a large company to work in different positions, to share experience with colleagues in different countries. If I couldn't improve, I probably wouldn't work in this organization anymore. Here I constantly have challenges,
